April portrays the often overlooked beauty found in an otherwise harsh, uninviting landscape. Her challenge is to take the time to find the untapped charm in such objects as the abandoned homestead, the rusting fender, the desolute graveyard, and the dying wildflower. She believes capturing a fleeting moment in time is one of the most beautiful endeavors. She enjoys searching the environment of the High Lonesome for the innate beauty of humble scenes hiding in plain sight.

Tpilley is a whimsical artist, painting, drawing, and photographing what she sees in her mind, whatever and however strikes her fancy. She is currently focusing on photography, transforming objects encountered in her environment with plastic and pinhole optics. Her photographs are not intended to be documentary but representational of an object's ethereal quality.
